SOVIET UNION AIRMAIL 1933: LENINGRAD PHILATELIC EXHIBITION TEMPORARY POSTMARK
Leningrad 1933 (24 March) - Registered airmail envelope to Berlin, Germany, correctly franked at 60k (airmail rate to Germany 40k + registration 20k, tariff of 3 May 1932). Cancellation with the special postmark of the exhibition in black "All Union Philatelists Exhibition Leningrad". Arrival Berlin 28 March 1933. Slight soiling on the envelope at top and light crease not affecting the stamps, Very Fine.
Scarce commercial franking at the correct rate. Although the envelope was not endorsed as "airmail", both the franking and the delivery time point out a flight route.
