SOVIET TEMPORARY POSTMARK: 1949 MOSCOW INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION

Moscow 1949 (21 May) - Domestic registered local 40k postal stationery envelope uprated with the complete 1949 Radio Set (overfranking the 1 Ruble tariff of 16 September 1948), all cancelled with the special TEMPORARY POSTMARK of the MOSCOW INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION (∅ 30mm). Multiple transit and arrival (22 may) postmarks on the back. Superb.

Extremely scarce item, the convergence of a scarce commemorative set usage & difficult postmark.
