Note: Eisk / Ейск is a port town located on the shore of the Taganrog Gulf, Azov Sea. The railway connection between Eisk and Sosika was built during imperial times, with the same allocated numbers (295 & 296, see Robinson "Russian Railway Postmarks" R295.1 and R296.x, very scarce). Sosika was a very small station with limited facilities, opened only in 1915 and handling negligible quantities of mail.
