Saratov-Moscow TPO "44" 1928 (13 May) - Domestic envelope to Tambov, posted at a Travelling PO wagon on the Saratov-Moscow railway line. Franked with 1926 Small Head Definitive 8k paying the correct rate (Tariff of 1st February 1926), tied by the scarce oval postmark "SARATOV-MOSCOW POCHT. WAG. N°44  13 5 26". Arrival Tambov on reverse the same day. Very Fine.

Soviet mail sent via railway Travelling Post Offices are uncommon.
