Urazovo, Voronezh region 1925 (5 March) - First Soviet Definitive issue 50k (January 1924: typo, imperforated unwatermarked) in combination with second Definitive issue 20k (typo, perf 12:12¼ unwatermarked) paying the correct 70 kopek domestic EXPRESS rate (tariff of 1st September 1924) to Rostov on Don. Scarce departure labels and 2 kopek Charity non postal stamp. Arrival on back Rostov on Don 6 (or 8) March 1925. Very Fine.
A rare cover, the convergence of a very difficult stamp on commercial mail, a scarce Express departure and the use of a Charity stamp. Specialist item.
