St Petersburg 1767 Prestamp FRAMED Postmark Dobin 0.02 - Very Rare

ST PETERSBURG SECOND PRE-ADHESIVE POSTMARK - DOBIN TYPE 0.02

St Petersburg 1767 (17 April) - A very fair strike of the rare ST PETERSBOVRG framed postmark, on a commercial folded entire to Captain Peter Vonintapenbek in Narva, via the Courier Horse Post.  The SECOND postmark from St Petersburg (45 x 4 mm). Very Fine & very rare.

Only eight recorded in the litterature, this one being the second earliest date known. Manfred Dobin notes a use of that handstamp between 1767 and 1772.
