CAUCASUS VILLAGE DZHEBRAIL, ELISAVETPOL PROVINCE : UNIQUE TEMPORARY POSTMARK
Kibarti 1909 (18 December) - Postcard sent to DZHEBRAIL, Elisavetpol Province, a 3k Arms pays the correct rate (tariff of 20 march 1879), with a superb strike upon arrival of the extremely rare double circle handstamp "DZHEBRAIL ELISAV. 30.12.09" (∅ 28mm, unrecorded type in Ashford). Very Fine.
A recent discovery and extremely rare mail with the Dzhebrail temporary post office postmark, probably unique with this canceller type.
