Lübeck, 1844 (September) - Commercial folded entire sent to the Russian Academy of Sciences in Sr Petersburg, embarked on the steamship "NIKOLAY I", one of the three ships of the COMPAGNIE DES PYROSCAPHES which were part of the Lübeck-St Petersburg line, via the Gulf of Finland & Baltic Sea. Arrival boxed "RECEIVED 6 SEPT. 1844 EVENING". Very Fine.
