Russia 1825 Ship Mail Baltic Sea via French Steamer to Paris ex Maslowski - Very Scarce

RUSSIA SHIP MAIL IN THE BALTIC SEA: ENTIRE SENT VIA FRENCH STEAMER via LE HAVRE "COLONIES"

St Petersburg, 1825 (16 June) - Folded entire sent to Paris via Le Havre by FRENCH STEAMER, endorsed manuscript "7", erroneously handstamped in red "COLONIES PAR LE HAVRE" (usually applied only on incoming mail from the French colonies!). Very Fine.

A scarce and very unusual ship mail entire with excellent provenance (see below).
