RSFSR 1921 MONEY LETTER: SAVING STAMP USED AS POSTAGE STAMP
Vyatka 1921 (22 November) - Domestic Money Letter for 5,000 rubles sent to Ekaterinoslav, mixed combination of 1k Saving Stamp (revalued at 250r) and RSFSR Second Definitive 100r paying the correct 350 rubles rate (tariff of 15 August 1921: 250 R + 2% of the sum). The Saving stamp revalued pays for postage, the 100r Definitive pays the insurance for 5,000 rubles. Arrival Ekaterinoslav 3 December 1921. Strong vertical fold on the 100r stamp, otherwise Very Fine.
Very scarce RSFSR Money Letter, and attractive commercial usage combination.
