RSFSR VERY RARE USAGE OF THE 25k "ARMS" IMPERFORATE
Ryazan 1919 (26 May) - Registered envelope sent to a Bolshevik "War Commissariat" in Mikhailov, single 25k Arms IMPERFORATE, 1k Saving stamps used as postal stamps (5) and 4k Arms (5) paying the correct 50 kopek rate (tariff of 1st January 1919: 50 kopek for registered mail under 15 grams). Arrival Mikhailov 28 May 1919. Very Fine mixed franking sent during the Free Post Period (registered mail had to be franked).
