C.E.R Kharbin-Vladivostok Line "264", 1908 (8 April) - Postcard to St Petersburg posted directly on board of a Chinese Eastern Railway train, correctly franked at 3k rate (tariff of 20 March 1879), the stamp cancelled by a superb strike of the TPO "264" line postmark. Extremely Fine.

Note: the Chinese Eastern railway was an extension of the trans-siberian railway to connect the port of Vladivostok via Manchuria. There were the following lines: Travelling post offices line 261/262 (Manchuli-Harbin), 263/264 (Harbin-Vladivostok), 265/266 (Port Arthur-Harbin) and line Kwangchentze-Harbin.
