SOVIET UNION 1942: REGISTERED MAIL FROM FIELD POST OFFICE w/ COMMEMORATIVES

Military Field Post Office #284, 1942 (March) - Inland registered envelope sent from the 282th FPO to Tatarsky ASSR. Correctly franked at 60 kopek with a pair of Soviet Commemorative: 30k inland mail + 30k registration (tariff of 6 February 1939). Appropriate censor on reverse. Very Fine.

FPO registered mail franked with Soviet Commemoratives are very scarce, as most of the military mail was either 1. free frank or 2. franked with Soviet Definitives and/or 3. non registered.
