Vladivostok 1921 (20 May) - International letter to the Russian Volunteer Fleet on the vessel "Tula" in Constantinople harbour, franked Far Eastern Republic 10k blue. Maritime transit via the SUEZ CANAL with Egyptian postmark "PORT TAUFIQ" and arrival in a suburb of Istanbul "GALATA" on 15 July 1921. Very Fine.
Exceptional maritime route from Far Eastern Republic to the Mediterranean Sea via the Suez Canal in Egypt, with about two months travel. Very rare, this is the second such cover that we have recorded.
