Returns process
Please contact us immediately - and no later than 30 days after your purchase; for logistic reasons, please do not return any items before contacting us first. Then simply ship the item(s) back registered with a tracking number and in the exact same condition you received it. Any damaged or treated item by any process whatsoever, subsequent to receipt by the buyer, is not returnable.

Following a common practice among professionals in the stamp trade, collective lots (more than 10 stamps or covers) and lots "sold as is" cannot be returned, for obvious reasons.

√ Keep your original invoice as it is mandatory for the guarantee to be valid.
√ Complaints must be supported by a written opinion from expert bodies listed below.
Reclamation: any reclamation regarding authenticity must be supported by an opinion of one of the following expert bodies, and submitted no later than three years after the purchase date:
- For all areas: BPP (www.bpp.de) or Philatelic Experts PE (www.philatelic-experts.com)
- For British Colonies: BPP, Philatelic Experts PE or the BPA (www.bpaexpertising.com)
- For areas not covered by either BPP, Philatelic Experts or the BPA, we accept: AIEP (www.aiep-experts.net), RPSL (www.rpsl.org.uk) or Pascal Scheller.
If an item is proven forged by one of those aforementioned bodies, we will fully refund the purchase price, including its shipping costs. We will also cover the actual expert´s certificate costs (regarding the latter, up to a maximum of 50 €).
The inability of an expert body mentioned above to express a definitive and conclusive opinion is no grounds for a return or a refund on any item. The counter certificate must clearly indicate that the item is forged.
¹ Exceptions: lots described "sold as is" and collective lots (more than 10 stamps or covers) are not part of our Guarantee of Authenticity, and are sold without recourse.
CONDITION OF THE ITEMS
Condition of covers: small faults such as corner bend, light edge wear, very slight size reduction on one side, slight fold or minor stains, small part of a backflap missing (etc.) are likely to happen on 100 years old covers. We do not always mention those typical minor wear, aging or slight soiling as they are visible on our illustrations.
Condition of stamps: we are very meticulous in the description of the postage stamps. Please note that a few classical areas are notorious for being plagued with small faults such as rough perforations, very fragile paper, bad centering (etc.), and where therefore minor faults are the norm and acceptable; for those few specific areas we can eventually describe as "very fine" a stamp in a lesser condition.

Descriptions: we guarantee the accuracy of our detailed and meticulous descriptions, which form the legal basis for our guarantee. If you notice any mistake or inaccuracy in a listing, please get in touch with us.
Illustrations: we provide multiple high resolution scans for your convenience. Due to scanner technical limitations, all illustrations only account for the margins, perforations and postmarks, but cannot be 100% accurate regarding gum, color shades or subtle paper changes on the stamps and covers.
Languages: in case of an item´s description in several languages, the English version is authorative.
