ST PETERSBURG PRE-ADHESIVE POSTMARK - DOBIN TYPE 0.01 a
St Petersburg 1773 (14 July) - A very fair strike of a ST PETERSBOVRG postmark, on a commercial folded entire to Pernau. The FIRST postmark from St Petersburg (42 x 2,5 mm), on an entire dated from Riga on the inside flap, but posted at the St Petersburg post office. Very Fine & scarce.
A scarce entire, the handstamp recorded by Manfred Dobin between 1765 and 1779.
